Our story
Esprit d'Afrique was born from a genuine attachment to Senegal, its contrasting landscapes and the warmth of its people. The agency carries this simple desire: to unveil the country as it truly is, taking time for meaningful encounters and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
Founded in 2009 in Mbour, the agency was built on the legacy of Origin'Africa, a pioneer of luxury travel across the continent. Over the years, the team has built a network of committed local partners — guides, accommodations, host families — and developed deep knowledge of the territory, from the Saloum Delta to Bassari villages, from the banks of the Sénégal River to vibrant Dakar.
Didier coordinates the agency from Mbour, faithful to a certain vision of travel: authentic, attentive, never standardized. Alongside him, Rama guides travelers through the design of their itineraries, while Manou leads them along Senegalese trails, generously sharing his daily life and culture. Together, they craft tailor-made stays, through a responsible tourism approach committed to Travelife certification.
